April 1st...Brooke was 15 mo old!

I forgot to update our little lady's stats from our appointment with Dr. Anderson last week for her 15 month check-up. She continues to be tall - 32 7/8 inches (99%) and weighs 23 lbs 14 oz (82%). Good thing we aren't worried about her weight, because she seems to be a picky eater. She likes snacky-type foods, PB&J, yogurt, cheese, and bananas - but she isn't to the point where she will eat whatever we are eating for dinner...yet! We are working on it. She is super active & moving around all of the time - she is starting to try to run after Isaac and is getting much steadier on her feet, not falling quite as often. She is a stubborn little girl too - she knows what she wants and/or where she wants to go, and lets it be known if she isn't happy when we try to "redirect her"! She still likes to have a "ba" (ball) with her most of the time, likes to play peek-a-boo by covering her own eyes, and really likes being read to. She says "woof" when she sees a picture of a dog or you ask her what a doggie says, she points toward what she wants and says "dat", and can nod yes and no. She can also identify where her head, ears, and mouth are...and sometimes where her nose and tummy are. If she is upset in the car, she can be calmed down by singing - her favorites are "when you're happy and you know it..." or "Old McDonald had a farm". She is super-ticklish & still likes to snuggle, especially when she's sleepy...which I hope lasts forever.

Here are a few goofy pictures of our messy child - she doesn't car if she gets messy...and a few minutes after the first 2 pictures were taken, the peanut butter was all over her hair! Why does she do that?!?! This was our first attempt, but as you can see, we aren't quite ready for a pony tail!

I wonder if any of that yogurt got in her mouth?!?! Practice makes perfect, right?
