Remlinger Farms
In mid-October, Isaac had his 1st pre-school fieldtrip to Remlinger Farms, where the kids were able to feed some farm animals, run through a hay maze and jump on a hay trampoline, learn about bees, see a puppet show, ride a steam train, and pick out their own pumpkin. Isaac was certainly overwhelmed with all of the people and excitement, so he stayed pretty close to me the whole time. I was glad to be able to go to meet Isaac's "school friends" that he talks about and some of their parents. It was pretty funny, as the parents (aka: "chaperones") out-numbered the kids!

Trick-or-Treat
Isaac got to wear his costume all day at pre-school and was so excited to come home and go trick-or-treating. Unfortunately, when it was time for some pre-trick-or-treating pictures, Isaac wasn't in the mood to cooperate. Sooooo, you won't be seeing any pictures of the fireman with his ladybug this year. Isaac quickly got out of his funk when he realized that trick-or-treating is fun! He picked out which houses he wanted to visit and strutted around the neighborhood in his fireman boots like he owned the place. We were so proud of him, how he went up and rang the doorbell and proudly said "trick-or-treat" and "thank-you"! Brooke and I stayed a little distance from the front door, but she got plenty of practice waving to everyone, which is her newly acquired skill!
