Although we didn't get any pictures of the actual "Thanksgiving Day" (I'm kicking myself not to have a picture of Brooke with her 1st turkey!), we had a great time with the Stones and of course, Nana and Papa, who visited much of the week. Brooke made everyone laugh with her scrunched-up- nose smile, and impressed everyone with her crawling skills. And, she recently said her first words! She truely
loves her stuffed animal bears these days and either points to one of them to say "Ba" (bear), or points to Morris and says "Ma". Yep, still waiting to hear Mama or Dada! Mike put Dad to work with odd jobs around the house, investigating a leak in a sky light (ugghh) and cleaning the gutters! Nana, when not helping me in the kitchen or with something else, was on full entertain-kid-duty and they loved every minute of it! Brooke now loves to splash herself with water on her highchair tray and "push" the patio door open (over and over and over)! Thanks, Nans!

| Awww...snuggling with Nana. Better enjoy this while it lasts! |
We lucked out with the weather the day after Thanksgiving...one of the only sunny days all week and this is when we continued with the post-Thanksgiving Day-tradition...the seek, the find, and the cutting down of the perfect Christmas tree. Isaac actually found the one we came home with!

Yum...candy canes that turn your mouth green!

Brooke really got a kick out of Rudolph and his light up nose! (Extra bonus...he sings too!)
Isaac really got into helping with decorating the tree this year, which was so much fun! He liked to put all of his favorite ornaments at his level, smashed together on the same section of the tree...too cute! We gently "helped him" space them out a little better!
