So, Mike got a chain saw for his 35th birthday (yikes!) & quickly put it to good use, trimming up branches...and cutting down his 1st tree! Our yard is beautiful with many HUGE trees, but it has been somewhat neglected & a lot of it is overgrown. We are hoping that by thinning it out a bit by trimming branches and cutting down a few select (smaller) trees, it will let a little more sunlight in the yard and house. So, one evening Mike & I found ourselves watching a chainsaw safety video (thrilling, let me tell you) and the next day he got to work...
