Hello 2011 & Hello little miss Brooke!

Well, it's an understatement to say that the beginning of 2011 didn't begin as we had expected...at about 2 am on New Years Day, instead of heading to bed, Mike & I headed to the hospital because my water broke! At 6:37 pm that night, our beautiful baby girl, Brooke Harmon, was born. She was a whopping 6 lbs 5 oz, 19.5 inches long...and perfect. The whole experience was truely amazing. She was ready to join the world, fully alert with her eyes open & looking all around.

Proud big brother came to meet Brooke at the hospital the AM after she was born. He has been so sweet with her, wanting to kiss her on her forehead and touch her little hands. He gets really concerned about her, like making sure she is coming with us if we go somewhere, watching when I change her diaper, and wanting to fix her hat if it slips off her head.
