We miss you Nans & Pops!

It's so hard to believe it has been almost 1 month since Brooke was born. We are so grateful to have had Papa here for a week & Nana here for 3 weeks - keeping both Mike & I sane & keeping Isaac well entertained! The 3 weeks went incredibly fast & I know Isaac enjoyed the non-stop attention from his "Nans". It's only been a few hours & we all miss you already!
So far, Isaac has continued to adjust extremely well - he still loves to kiss Brooke on the forehead, says, "that's alright Brooke" when she cries, and likes to sit next to me when I'm feeding her. Brooke is very sweet and a very good natured little baby, really only crying when she is hungry. She is still sleeping most of the day away and wakes up about 2 times at night - usually about 1-2 am and 5-6 am to eat, so we really can't complain...let's hope the trend continues:) She was so teensy tiny when she was born but finally her newborn onsies seem to be getting a little snug...exciting, but kind of sad at the same time. I know how fast she is going to grow up, I'm just trying to enjoy the baby-stage as much as I can, tired nights and all!

Hello big brother!
Brooke's first bath - she actually really liked the warm water!

Papa & his little girlIsaac making pancakes with Papa
snoozin'...

We mentioned to Nana that she could start working on potty training with Isaac while she was here...however, this isn't exactly what we had in mind! I guess getting him enthusiastic about his "big boy underpants" is a good start!

Daddy & his kiddos:)
Isaac was busy one afternoon drawing pictures with Nana...he wanted to make sure his "blue bear" and "Teds" could see his fine artwork, so he lined up chairs for all of them!

Check out Isaac's "cheesy" smile! Whenever we take a picture of him lately he practically screams "cheese", so unless we can catch him by surprise, he just has a constipated look on his face! I guess we will take what we can get!
