This past weekend we had plans to go camping. Let me set the stage...Megan & I were all packed and ready to go with the kids to secure a camp site for the rest of the gang (albeit a bit later than we initially were planning)...and then plans fell apart when we discovered some of the group was feeling under the weather & wouldn't be able to make it. So, Megan & I turned the car around, unloaded a perfectly packed car, and proceeded to grill out at our house, have a bonfire, and then Mike, Isaac, Morris and I camped in the back yard! Brooke was snug as a bug in her crib, none the wiser!

It worked out so that we were able to spend the rest of the weekend with the Stone's at their cabin, taking the boat out on Lake Cushman and on the Puget Sound the next day. Lake Cushman is a beautiful lake on the Olympic Penninsula surrounded by mountains. Although we missed the sunshine, the clouds were actually really pretty over the mountains. We had a great time and Isaac was thrilled to be able to drive the boat with Bryan!
