Happy 1st birthday to our little girl! It is so hard to believe that it has already been a year since our last New Year's Eve party that ended with a surprise trip to the hospital! This year, we celebrated Brooke's birthday on New Year's Eve with friends & family since Nana & Papa came into town & Uncki Kevin, Autie Al, Ty & Ry were still here. We had a really great time with everyone...and loved the energy with all of the kids running around! However, as you will see below, we didn't get any of those icing-in-your-face 1st birthday photos that we all look forward to! We even tried the next day, on her true birthday, and she was not interested at all:( Oh well, there is always next year!

All of the kids got to decorate their own cupcakes! Tyler, the oldest of the bunch, had the idea by continuing to pile on the sprinkles and the candy until he had taken the last bite! Very impressive!
