"Gasses on"

We went to Mount Vernon last weekend to check out the tulips. We thought we may be too late because of all of the warm weather we've been having, but it was a beautiful day and the 2 fields we visited were absolutely gorgeous...the colors were so vibrant! Unfortunately our camera battery ran out 1/2 way through (great planning, right?!?!) and Isaac wasn't really in the smiling mood, but we still managed to get a couple of decent shots. I have NEVER seen a kid that likes wearing his sun "gasses" as much as Isaac. We helped him put them on when the sun was shining in the window on the way up, and he kept them on walking around the tulip fields and all the way through lunch (inside at the Brewery). We tried to take them off when we got inside & he was not interested. It became even funnier when he insisted upon taking his sweater off at the table & was then left wearing his white short-sleeved onsie, jeans, and his black sunglasses! We overheard some people saying, "check out the kid in the shades" as we walked out! I guess it could be worse:)
