Merry Christmas!

Isaac certainly is one lucky little boy! We started the celebration on Christmas Eve with a special Robertson italian dinner with part of our Seattle fam, Megan & Jeff. Isaac had us all laughing hysterically when he was mimicing everything that they were doing, such as putting his hands on his hips, crossing his arms, and covering his eyes after they did. He woke up Christmas morning to a room full of BIG toys under the Christmas tree...it was all a bit overwhelming for him at first. (Unfortunately, I can't figure out how to shorten the video, so it won't upload.) He stopped dead in his tracks as he rounded the corner and then backed up to peek around the corner. Eventually, he let go of his Daddy's hand and got really brave to check out his new "car" from Santa, his wagon & shopping cart from Nana & Papa, and his cool tricycle from Uncle Kevin & Aunt Allison. After a big breakfast, the fun with all of the other presents began. The highlight was certainly the handmade blocks & wagon from Granddad & Gramee. We had a hard time prying him out of his new car, so he ended up opening up some of his presents sitting in it...including another favorite from his Aunt Jenny - a soft green monkey that he likes to hug while he's making a monkey noise! We enjoyed Christmas evening with Megan & Jeff, and Nick & Corinne & their family.

The holiday's remind us how blessed we are to have such wonderful & loving family & friends. Merry Christmas to all of you! For those of you we didn't see this weekend, we miss you!
