Gramee & Isaac

Gramee was here for a long weekend and although it went by too fast, we all had a great time! Isaac loved showing off by running circles around the house, squealing at Morris, throwing his "ba's" around (especially under the furniture), and calling almost everything in sight a "ca" (car). This is new - he now stops in his tracks when the jingle of the Toyota Prius commercial comes on and yells "ca, ca" and "go, go, go" at the TV! He briefly had a new favorite toy (Gramee's shiney bracelet) & was having fun carrying his little bucket of toys like a purse, much to his Daddy's dismay. We took advantage of the gorgeous weather & went to the zoo... and although most of the animals were hiding in the shade, we got up close & personal to the giraffes, elephants, & hippos, which Isaac loved. He can't wait for Gramee to come back with Granddad in just over a month!

Otherwise, Isaac is constantly on the move & continues to be the happiest little guy. He is super ticklish and laughs uncontrollably, getting especially hiper right before bedtime! It seems like daily he suprises us by doing something new and showing us that he actually understands what we are saying. For example, when we tell him it's time for his bath, he goes into the bathroom, opens the cabinet, and starts putting his bath toys in the tub. He points to his high chair when he is hungry, he turns around to sit on my lap to read a book (so sweet), sticks his feet up in the air to put his shoes on, and walks from the car to our house all by himself (usually with some coaxing to keep moving)!
